These terms cover how we work together when Western Web Designs builds and looks after your website. We have kept them short and clear. If anything is unclear, just ask.

Your free preview

Your preview is free and there is no obligation to go ahead. The preview design stays ours until you choose to go ahead and pay for your site.

Prices and paying

• Our prices are shown on our pricing section or agreed with you in writing for Custom work.
• No VAT is added to our prices at the moment. If that changes, we will tell you before it affects anything you pay.
• You pay the build price when you are happy with your site and ready for it to go live.
• Extra pages, features and add-ons are quoted before we start, so you always know the price first.

Changes to your site while we build it

Each plan includes a set number of rounds of changes, listed on our pricing section. We are happy to make more changes after that, and will agree a price with you first.

Your content

We write the words for your site with you. Any photos, logos or text you send us should be yours to use, or used with permission. We are happy to help you find free-to-use or AI-made images where you need them.

Care plans

• Every site we host is on a care plan. Care is €20 a month or €200 a year. Care Plus is €45 a month or €450 a year.
• Care Plus is for sites with a shop, bookings, payments or forms that send through our server. We will agree the right plan with you before your site goes live.
• Fees for outside services like Stripe, Shopify or booking software are paid by you directly, in your name.
• The first plan runs for 12 months. After that it continues month to month, and you can stop it whenever you like. It ends at the end of the month you tell us.
• If you pay yearly, each payment covers 12 months. Before it renews, we will check whether you would like to renew or switch to monthly.
• Care includes up to 30 minutes of small changes each month and Care Plus includes up to 1 hour. Unused time does not carry over to the next month.
• We use reliable hosting, check your site every day and keep regular backups, so your site stays fast and online.

Your domain

Your domain is registered in your name, so it is always yours. If you would like us to register and renew it for you, that is €55 a year.

Who owns your website

Once you have paid for your site, the design and content are yours to use. If you ever decide to move on, we hand over your files and help move your domain, so the switch is smooth.

Showing your site

We love showing off the sites we build, so we may include yours in our examples. If you would prefer we did not, just tell us and we will leave it out.

Our responsibility

We take great care with every site. If something goes wrong because of our work, we will put it right. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Irish consumer law.

Ending our work together

Either of us can end our work together by telling the other in writing. You pay for work already done, and we hand over everything that is yours.

Irish law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
